I am a very common type, I have good hearing but still that buzzing sound. But the amazing thing is that twicw during those 30 years (once ofter 7 months, once after 16 years!) the tinnitus went away like a big POP! Firs time it was like i felt an undescriabale feeling in the head as if something 'loosened', it took about 15 seconds and it was sostrong that I thought 'now I got a brain hemmorage'. IT WAS WONDERFUL!! It was like not only the sound disappeared but I felt lighter like in the old days! This extatic euphoria lasted 2 days, I actually cried of happiness. I took a nap in the evening, and when i woke up the tinnitus and the unfomy old feeling was back... 16 years later it happened AGAIN! But this time I was not in bed, I stood making the dishes! I asked and asked the lousy useless 'healthcare' and of course I have "made it all up", tinnitus cannot go away to 100% like that. I have feeling that it may have to do with sinuses or pineal gland - possibly neck to bit there are reasons why I belive that there CAN be something inflammatoric. This tinnitus explosion startred here in Sweden in 1980 (I was almost the first one) and the whole mysterious illness explosion with Alzheimers, ADD, DAMP, ADHD, Panic Attacks rising 700% in a few years started the same time...
