July 21st, 2010

Tinnitus, or ringing in the ears, affects people in diverse ways, and likewise in distinctive degrees of seriousness. Some people only have small tinnitus and doesn’t really see any point in addressing it. However, there are many out there that have a real difficulty with it and want to discover a good solution so that they have have their life back. This is not only a problem during the day, but more especially at nighttime when there is not as much noise in the house. We want tinnitus remedies to help folks better their life.

Some of the most favorably recommended tinnitus remedies include ginkgo biloba and coenzyme which are herbal supplements. The hypothesis is that these supplements will step-up the blood flow through your body, including your ears, and thus helping the ears receive all the nutrients that they can get. There have been some measure of success using these supplements; however, if the tinnitus case is severe, then it likely isn’t going to cut it.

If you do any searching online, you’ll notice that another possibility that could help is by taking aspirin. There are some individuals who have had success with this one, but it is possible to take too much aspirin and make the ringing worse. So if you would like to try this, then you must be cautious with the dosage. Keep in mind that this does not include other pain relievers such as Motrin or Tylenol products, only aspirin.

If those don’t help you, then there is additional research that vitamins b, e, sesame seeds, and folic acid are helpful with tinnitus. Eating more pineapple also helps with tinnitus. Pineapple has some anti-inflammatory effects in general, and that seems to really help some people with tinnitus.

The good news is that the health community is starting to get more awareness. As more research is done, we will be able to find out more about why the condition exists, and what we can do about it. And while those who suffer only minor tinnitus may question what the big deal is, it will be a welcome relief for everybody else.

In our research, we have found that Tinnitus is a relatively common problem that affects about 10% of people at some point in their life. Also, about 1% of the population experience a severe case of Tinnitus, which may not sound like a lot, but that represents over 4 million people. Most of these people tend to prefer treating tinnitus using natural methods since more invasive medical treatment is costly and often ineffective.

So what causes Tinnitus? You may already heard that being around loud noises for an extended period of time is one case. However, there are others such as the medicine you take may have that as a side affect.

The good news is that you can get tinnitus relief, and the bad news is that you probably can’t cure it. For me however, I find that it’s not that different than my eyeglasses. I have bad eyesight, but I can see just fine with my glasses.  With a naturally based treatment, you can get tinnitus relief so that the ringing the ears symptoms go away. For example we have found that people with Tinnitus often have a deficiency of zinc. Other times we have found that the cause is related to an imbalance of fluid in the ears.

Whatever the cause, there is almost certainly an approach that will give you tinnitus relief. The problem with treating Tinnitus is that most of the medical world doesn’t place much priority in research.  Since most people that are diagnosed simply ignore it without seeking any treatment, there just isn’t the money to find new and better ways for treatment. However, many natural treatments have shown remarkable success.

Ringing, whistling, whooshing, whining or hissing. Any of these sounds, which can be present in one or both ears when no external noise is present, could be indicative of tinnitus.

In the February issue of Women’s Health Source published by the Mayo Clinic, you can see an overview of this condition that is quite common. It is estimated that ten to fifteen percent of adults experience prolonged tinnitus that often requires medical evaluation. This kind of tinnitus can interfere with daily activities, sleep and concentration.

Tinnitus is usually caused due to age-related hearing loss. Continual exposure to loud noises can also damage hearing and result in tinnitus. It can also be caused by a buildup of wax in the ear canal. Some cancer drugs, medications and certain antibiotics can cause or worsen tinnitus. If aspirin is taken excessively, this can lead to temporary tinnitus, too.

If you want to treat tinnitus, you have to get to the root cause. There is no cure for tinnitus at the present time. For some people, making a medication change or removing earwax may diminish the symptoms of tinnitus.

These following treatment therapies may prove to be beneficial:

  • Amplification of hearing with a hearing aid. Wouldn’t this make things worse? No, because the brain, instead of being distracted by an internal noise, would rather be processing external sounds.
  • Avoid excessive noise. If you operate noisy machinery, you may want to wear earplugs.
  • Avoid stimulants. Decongestants, caffeine and nicotine can aggravate tinnitus.
  • Add background noise. Try turning on a fan, some quiet music or background noises. These may distract your brain from the external noise.
  • Try behavioral therapy. People can learn to cope with tinnitus by using relaxation techniques.
  • Make use of medications. When tinnitus interferes with sleep or causes a lot of stress or anxiety, antidepressants or sedatives can help.

Ultimately, if you want to holistically treat tinnitus, you need to get Tinnitus Miracle. It is a comprehensive resource on how to get rid of the ringing without spending your hard earned money on pharmaceutical companies.
